Safe Jack’s Remote Bottle Jacks are ideal for heavy equipment and structural work, whether in the workshop or out in the field. Their generous base enhances stability, minimizes ground pressure, and shields the hydraulic fittings from potential damage. Originally designed for the U.S. Army and USMC to lift heavy armored vehicles, these jacks prove invaluable in various tasks that demand power, stability, and safety. They are also engineered for an extended working stroke compared to other hydraulic cylinders of similar size.
Ergonomically designed handles facilitate easy transportation and positioning of the jack beneath the load. Swivel fittings further reduce the risk of damage to the fittings and hydraulic system failures. By attaching the Big Foot base plate, you increase the footprint to 144 square inches and disperse a 30,000-pound load to just over 200 pounds per square inch. For even lighter ground pressure, an additional secondary base plate can be added, reducing it to 100 pounds per inch.
Setting up the jack is quick and straightforward. Simply attach the base plate and connect it to any compatible hydraulic pump via a flexible hose. We recommend appropriately sized Safe Jack hand pumps for each jack size (see BMI Hydraulic Hand Pump).
