We started off with a stabilizer base for Hi-Lift type jacks and quickly determined that we needed a base plate system for bottle jacks because so many of the new vehicles had no place to use a Hi-Lift jack without damaging the vehicle. We modified a base plate that we had used in a military application for the bottle jack and it worked but our customers complained that they would have to carry two base plate set ups. Its’ easy to see the value of SAFE JACK! Safe Jack is all about making jacking and supporting vehicles safer. I saw a report today from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that showed an estimated 4,822 persons injured in motor vehicle jack failures and of those, 74% were due to the vehicle slipping or falling off the jack.
