I've only used this once so far to help a friend jack up a trailer in the sand. Used a small piece of 2x6 under the jack and had no problem getting the tire off. The bracket on top was the key to success, the jack couldn't slip out from under the trailer frame. Exactly what I wanted. The 'Ammo' box kit fits perfectly in my outside storage on my Class B RV.
